Taking a Closer Look at the 2020 Jeep® Cherokee

One of the models that we’re incredibly excited about is the 2020 Jeep Cherokee, which has long been a favorite here at our Downey, CA dealership. The 2020 model of this fantastic Jeep crossover is no exception. So, let’s break down what we love most about the 2020 Jeep Cherokee.

The 2020 model comes in five primary trim levels: the 2020 Jeep Cherokee Latitude, Latitude Plus, Limited, Trailhawk, and Overland. A 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 180 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque is standard. However, you can upgrade to a 3.2-liter V6 engine that puts out 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque. Also available is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. All models offer either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive except the Trailhawk, which is all-wheel-drive only.

Standard features on the base model include seven-inch wheels, automatic LED headlights, Bluetooth® wireless audio, a rearview camera, two USB ports, a seven-inch touchscreen, and a six-speaker audio system. Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ connectivity is also standard.

The Latitude Plus adds simulated-leather inserts in the upholstery, an extra USB port, and advanced safety features like blind-spot monitoring. It is the model we suggest drivers look at first. The Limited adds leather upholstery, upgraded driver display, an 8.4-inch infotainment screen, and more.

Available packages like the Trailer Tow package and Technology Group package further enhance your vehicle’s abilities by adding features such as full-speed forward collision warning with automatic braking and more.
